The marketing pipe where your promotional investment is made and leads are generated, flows through your call center pipe which captures the calls and schedules the client consultation, to the sales pipe which presents your offerings to the prospect, to the production pipe where the work is actually produced, to the service pipe, where you create repeat business, and the office/ accounting pipe is the glue that holds everything together…and gets you paid.

Each pipe, representing each department in your company, must have a responsible person accountable for the KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) of that department. In the Business PipelineTM Course Workbook, you will place a name of an employee in your company on each pipe. If you find that your name, as the owner or General Manager (GM), is on two or three or more pipes, it is a sign you are in need of delegation. This may include re-cruitment, interviewing, hiring, designating or cross training, to acquire the appropriate person to be responsible for that particular department. As you navigate, the “Your Business PipelineTM book”, you will find specific KPI’s broken out and designated for each pipe in your company. These KPI’s represent the accountability necessary in each pipe, and the ac-countability for the person whose name is responsi- ble for that pipe in your company. However, at the end of the day, the buck stops with the owner.
