About Our Founder

Daniel F. Fitzgerald III has trained over 2000 professional home improvement contrac-tors, in six countries on how to become leaders in their industry. He has spoken at nu-merous seminars to home inspectors and real estate agents throughout North America, discussing the technological advances in marketing, entrepreneurial success, business development and in the home improvement industries. Dan is an author, motivational speaker, corporate trainer and a serial entrepreneur. He runs several of his own com-panies, as well as an accredited nonprofit he founded to help young entrepreneurs launch their own businesses and live the American Dream.

For 17 years, Dan was the Chief Marketing Officer, and held the position of Director of Marketing for Basement Systems Inc., the largest International Network of Basement, Crawl Space, Foundation Repair, and Home Energy Contractors in the world. He built a 55 person Internet Marketing department, a 7 person multi-media video studio and an 8 person International Call Center. From its infancy, Dan established the Network’s corporate identity, as well as art directed all of the collateral materials, advertisements, sales promotion materials & digital footprint used by over 350 companies (authorized dealers) in six countries.

In 2009, Dan was instrumental in developing the Dr. Energy Saver International Deal-er Network. Establishing the brand, marketing & advertising strategies, and contractor training & support to companies entering the home performance industry. Each year, from 2005 – 2012 Dan was awarded CT Innovation Prizes by the Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Partnership for marketing innovations, designed to help home services companies grow their businesses, and become more profitable. Dan is also a principal in the firm Central Station Marketing, specializing in web development, on-line and off-line lead generation, and marketing training for home services companies, and is based in Dallas TX.

Dan completed his undergraduate education with honors at Pratt Institute, in the School of Art & Design in Brooklyn NY, majoring in Art Direction. He founded and ran his own advertising agency based in Black Rock, and Stratford CT for 12 years prior to accepting the head marketing position with Basement Systems. During which time he worked with such accounts as Cushman & Wakefield, Grubb & Ellis, William Pitt, AT&T, Pitney Bowes, US Tobacco, and many regional banks, hedge funds & businesses. For over 10 years, Dan was on the board of the Valley Chamber of Commerce, was on the Valley Community Board of Junior Achievement of Western CT, the Advisory Board of The Parent Child Resource Center, and chaired the Membership Committee of the Corporate Volunteer Council, of the Valley United Way.
